Open to my next challenge

I turn regulation and risk into competitive value.

I lead technology and cybersecurity in regulated financial environments: strategy, regulatory governance (NIS2, DORA, GDPR), digital transformation and post-M&A integration, with direct accountability for budget, team and results. Available for full-time, interim or fractional engagements.

Open to my next challenge

After nine years as CIO, CTO and functional CISO at Cabot Financial Iberia, I'm evaluating my next executive challenge. I'm looking for organizations ready to treat IT and cybersecurity as a strategic investment, not an afterthought.

Why hire me

Situation: merger of three entities, different cultures and systems. Obstacle: four incompatible CRM platforms and real risk of disrupting the business. Analysis: the integration couldn't be purely technical, it had to go hand in hand with automation and governance. Resolution: I consolidate 4 CRMs into 1, cut OPEX by 35% and sustain 300% business growth, with zero service disruption.

Situation: constantly expanding regulatory framework (NIS2, DORA, GDPR) in a high-risk sector. Obstacle: risk exposure with no unified continuity programme. Analysis: designing cybersecurity as a competitive advantage, not a compliance checkbox. Resolution: I cut risk exposure by 50% while maintaining an SLA above 99.9%.

Who I am

Alignment is the job, not just the stack.

I translate complexity into business impact.

I believe you have to live technology and understand it from the inside to lead it well: infrastructure, security, delivery, the details that break at 2am. That's what earns the room when I'm presenting risk to a board or reviewing an incident response runbook line by line.

The real job is aligning business, technology, security and process so they move together, not managing each in isolation. Two decades in regulated financial services and debt management have been about exactly that: turning NIS2, DORA and GDPR into roadmaps with measurable cost reduction, scalability and growth, and building infrastructure from scratch through 300% business growth.

What sets me apart is a holistic view of the business, communication that connects technology and people, and the structured thinking to turn complexity into decisions that actually move things forward: not just technical depth, but the ability to translate IT into measurable business value, for CEOs, executive committees and boards who need a technology leader fluent in both languages.

As a leader, I believe in clarity, trust and shared ownership. I'm inspired by Management 3.0 principles, and by the ongoing challenge of evolving IT into a real, sustainable source of influence within the organization.

"Recognized as a CIO who transforms the business through technology: building alliances, driving efficiency, and leading through influence."
